  1. Cheater Slicks

These radials feature a sticky tread rubber that is built using a lightweight design. This design was developed for high-performance drag racing. This type of drag radial features a bias-ply construction, like any other drag racing slick except they are composed with the right amount of tread to pass the DOT testing. The M&H Racemaster drag radial is a quality dual purpose tire with an aggressive tread design that combines both both on and off the track grip and performance. Like with most drag radials, drivers may not the most extensive tread life out of these tires, but if you understand that going in, then you will be happy with performance.  

Overall, these tires are great for aggressive street driving and the occasional test and tune event at your local track.  These tires are the definition of a street strip tire, and allow you to drive to the track, get a decent ET, then drive home without swapping tires and wheels at the track.

Bottom Line

All tires sold in the US are DOT approved, but that does not mean it helps to drive around the street in DOT-approved drag radials. These unique tires are designed and built specifically for the purpose of racing and it will not perform well in bad weather and normal driving conditions. 

Some drag radials have very minor tread depth that daily use will result in losing tread time fast. If you are in the market for drag radials, make your choice M&H Racemaster Drag Radials for superior performance and reliability. 

Overall, the Racemaster drag radials are a great mix of street and strip performance. If we had to compare them to another tire, it would be the Mickey Thompson ET Street SS.  Both tires feature exceptional straight line traction and are performers on and off the track.
